The Auray River
The Auray River flows into the Gulf of Morbihan and partially fills and empties to the rhythm of the tides.
Ensconced at the end of a ria, Saint-Goustan has gone through the centuries unchanged, with its preserved cobblestone alleys, stone bridge, timber-framed houses and lively docks. Benjamin Franklin docked here in 1776 to meet with Louis XVI.
