About 40 minutes away from “Les Dames de Nage”, you will find Rochefort en Terre, a small picturesque Morbihan town, voted France’s favourite town of 2016.

 

Arguably one of the most beautiful charming small towns in Brittany, Rochefort-en-Terre will take you on a journey through time. Stroll through its cobblestone alleys, see the ramparts and timber-framed houses, and discover this town flowered with geraniums and ivy. 

 

The town also has a number of artisanal shops, as well as a magnificent 12th century castle, which was transformed into a manor by an American and became a hub for artists.

 

The banks of the Moulin Neuf pond are the ideal starting point for a beautiful hike around Rochefort-en-Terre.
